Through evaluating the EOY assessments from 2nd grade, I
will identify my targeted small group of students.

Place students in small, leveled groups based on areas they need
specific instruction and determine the specific group I will be collecting

Your plan looks good and well thought out. Do you have a control group? Is the math workshop only going to be used with students at or above grade level or will you also utilize the workshop for students below grade level? You could certainly do both and see if the gains are significantly different for the 2 types of groups. Just a thought. Good luck with your research.

ReplyDeleteI would appreciate it if you could follow mine and provide some feedback. Thanks.
Your plan looks great! I am excited to see your findings. I too am targeting a group of students based on data. I feel that your activity of creating higher level questioning stations is an excellent way to help target students. Having them take their thinking to a higher level will allow you to see if they truly get the concept. Good luck!
